BIDI® Stick: The Eco-Friendly Vape Pen

With numerous vape products coming out in the market, Bidi Vapor takes the lead on an eco-friendly, and sustainable usage of vape pens through its BIDI® Cares initiative. The brand promotes responsible production, distribution, and disposal of BIDI® Sticks.

To say that waste is a serious issue that does not do it justice. These past few years, more studies and documentaries have revealed the environment’s current status. With this, consumers have become worried about how they are contributing to our planet’s destruction or conservation. The troubling data concerning climate change and depleted resources forced the average citizen to understand their footprint and ability to change their ways.

The rise of the vaping industry has also created growth in waste from vape products. From disposable and cheap components all through improper disposal, some vape products pose serious environmental issues. A study from 2017 found out that there are 565 types of e-cigarette devices on the US market, 184 of which are disposable.  With the demand in the market, more companies have been coming out with products without regard to their product’s environmental footprint.

Ensuring the goods you purchase are made with both ethics and the environment in mind is one of the best ways to reduce waste.

BIDI® Stick, made by Bidi Vapor, is a premium vaping pen made with the environment in mind. It also leads to the charge in an eco-friendly usage of vaping products. Its intention to make vape products that are eco-friendly and sustainable is what makes it stand out from other brands.

Medical-Rate Pad

Most vape pens have the usual synthetic cotton. BIDI® Stick has a pharmaceutical and medical-rate pad that is both a win for the environment.

High-Quality Battery

Most batteries in e-cigarettes contain heavy metals that need extensive treatment to remove all its residual metals. Bidi Vapor has carefully thought of how we can improve the recyclability of e-cigarettes batteries. The battery used in every BIDI® Stick contains a high-quality battery that has been certified by FCC, CE, and ROHS. It is an investment in making BIDI® Stick a high quality and eco-conscious product.

The BIDI® Cares Program

Bidi Vapor recognizes its responsibility in the proper disposal of the product. To initiate the recycling of the BIDI® Stick, the brand has launched a sustainable program – the BIDI® Cares program.

Save a BIDI®. Save Our Environment

By choosing an eco-conscious vape product, you are making a positive and impactful change for the environment. With just one little change, you are doing something right for our planet.

Choose a product that cares. Choose BIDI® Stick.

How To Promote Recycling In Your Own Way

Just as more and more people voice concern about climate change, recycling rates— the one natural, Earth-friendly act that practically everyone can participate in — have remained frustratingly stagnant. New research suggests a positive path to increasing engagement in recycling. By promoting the practice, one person inspires more people to follow through.

If you observe clearly, it’s easy to notice the growing importance of recycling in our society. Brightly colored eco-friendly material bins sit next to their garbage counterparts on a trash day, and recycling containers are close to vending machines or printers in most workplaces. As the growth of environmentally-practices moves forward, recycling plays an even more significant role in the lives of the future generation.

Here are a few simple ideas on how you can promote recycling.

Spread the Word

It can start as a Facebook post, a tweet, or an Instagram story. Show people how you recycle the products you use and let them know of its advantages. If you want to catch your neighbors’ attention, write an article for your local newspaper and explain the benefits of recycling. If you have a particular writing gift, you can start your own regular, weekly, or monthly column, which offers readers tips and tricks on how to recycle their waste correctly.

Give Assistance

Recycling can be a daunting and overwhelming task at first. Offering help to people who want to start recycling is a sure way to make them do it continuously. You can advise on what colors their garbage cans should be to what items or products are recyclable. You can also support multiple people through leading community recycling programs. With your guidance, you can potentially transfer empowering awareness and sustain long-term commitment.

Awareness Campaigns

Environmental organizations all over the world conduct awareness campaigns to help conserve the environment. Some of these are fun runs, beach clean-ups, and bans of plastics. To further motivate your community to recycle, you can lead fun recycling programs. With this, children of the community also learn how to be more eco-conscious.

Support Recyclable Products

One of the most significant ways to promote recycling is to support companies that offer and produce recyclable products. With landfills overflowing and toxic gas emissions, more companies have been coming out with eco-conscious products. Support and buy these products that create a demand in the market for more eco-friendly and recyclable products.

Most people are already increasing their efforts to go “green,” but you can always promote to encourage more people. With aiming to reduce the carbon footprint, we can all drastically contribute to the environment’s state. There are many ways to promote recycling, but there is no shame in starting simple and easy.

Recently, Bidi Vapor has launched its eco-conscious initiative – the BIDI® Cares initiative. The recycling program aims to motivate its consumers to a more eco-friendly usage of BIDI® Sticks. It’s made with recyclable components like its high-quality battery and medical-rate pad. Bidi Vapor has recently launched a program focused on promoting sustainable practices of using the BIDI® Stick. With the BIDI® Cares program, we strive to create a mindset within our consumers of caring for the environment.

The Toxic Effects of Pollution on the Environment

BIDI® Cares: Save your BIDI®, Save our Planet is the full recycling program of BIDI® that aims and promotes recycling empty BIDI® Sticks. According to the National Geographic Society (2019), roughly 4.5 trillion cigarettes are discarded each year worldwide. This is through taking away cigarette smoke and, at the same time, protects the environment from irresponsible waste disposal.

Aside from this, improper waste disposal of batteries can be extremely toxic to our health and the environment. These used vaping products contain residual nicotine and lithium-ion batteries. These pose an imminent threat to domestic pets and wildlife if the residual nicotine goes into the environment. Even worse, it could get into children, if they happen to find and play with it.

The global environmental impact of batteries is assessed in terms of four leading indicators. These indicators further distinguish the impact of disposable and rechargeable batteries.

Consumption of Natural Resources

Production, transportation, and distribution of cells consume natural resources, thereby contributing to an accelerating depletion of natural resources. Rechargeable batteries consume less nonrenewable natural resources than disposable batteries. This is because of the fewer rechargeable batteries to provide the same amount of energy.

Climate Change and Global Warming

The increase in the average temperature of the Earth’s surface is because of an increasing greenhouse gas effect. The manufacturing and transportation of batteries emit exhaust and other pollutants into the atmosphere, thereby contributing to the greenhouse effect.

Photochemical Smog Pollution and Air Acidification

Batteries undergo a photochemical reaction as they decompose in landfills. This triggers emissions of greenhouse gases—the greenhouse effect results in global warming/climate change. Air acidification is the accumulation of acidic substances in atmospheric particles. These particles, deposited by rain, have an impact on soil and ecosystems.

Ecotoxicity and Water Pollution

There are potential toxic risks with the emission of battery chemicals into aquatic ecosystems. Improper or careless handling of waste batteries can result in the release of corrosive liquids. Also, dissolved metals are toxic to plants and animals. Improper disposal of batteries in landfill sites can result in the release of toxic substances into groundwater and the environment.

BIDI® Cares Promotes these Major Eco-friendly Initiative

BIDI® Sticks uses high-quality and recyclable batteries. However, our batteries can not only outperform the vapor competition, but it also allows us to save our planet with our customers’ help in recycling the entire BIDI® Stick.

Help us save the environment by working with our consumers and promote a mindset of conscious and responsible waste disposal. BIDI® Stick batteries are CE, FCC, & ROHS Certified, making sure that what you use is safe. These are batteries that allow its users to have a clean and consistent BIDI® Experience through batteries that do not warm up when in use and top-grade level battery comparable to cellular phone batteries that are powered enough for it to be recycled.

Conclusion

At Bidi Vapor, we take pride in our creation of BIDI® Stick. It is a premium vaping device made with high-quality components but also leads the charge in an eco-conscious vaping initiative.

Our vision is to be the renowned best provider of a vaping device that does not only deliver the best vaping experience but is also conscious of the environmental footprint it leaves behind.
